Measuring 11.5" in diameter and 2.5" deep, this is the largest bowl in the nesting set shown. Each bowl is sold individually. Round serving bowls such as these are scarce and even more difficult to find a complete graduated set. We have only had a few others and have never seen such a set.
The lovely teardrop embossed pattern is referred to as "Sydenham." This pattern is one of the most collectible as one can eventually accumulate an entire service consisting of various sizes of plates, bowls, pitchers, and serving pieces.
Each of the bowls in the nested set has an impressed registry mark on the bottom.
