Measuring 8" x 13", this rather large, highly decorative vegetable tureen has quite the presence. It stands 9" tall and commands attention. Produced in the mid-1800's by Clementson, it has lots of swirls with large detailed leaves centered in each exaggerated loop in the swirls. Detail is crisp and clean. Brilliant white with no condition issues and no staining. The base of the tureen is rather deep and commanding while the lid has a slightly high domed shape. It is one of the prettiest of the elaborate tureens we have had. It isn't quite as feminine as the floral tureens but is definitely more so than the corn or stark plain ones.
