Draped Windows Covered Butter Crock Blue and Cream Yellowware

Description:

Measuring 6" in diameter and 5.25" high, this is a lovely blue and cream butter crock. With its pebbly background design and curtain-type design, this pattern is often referred to as "Draped Windows." This pattern can be found in a shorter butter crock as well as a larger cake/pastry crock. This is rather unusual as it is a bit taller than most butter crocks you see. It has a wonderful medium glaze highlighting the outer rim of the lid as well as the top and bottom portions of the base. A sweet flower forms the design on the finial. Both lid and base are in pristine condition with no condition issues. Please contact us as we have an extensive inventory and could possibly have the other sizes to match or possibly a pitcher in the same colorway. This blue and cream coloration was produced in the 1920's in Ohio, and it can be seen on these butter crocks as well as a few different pitchers. We specialize in yellowware and have an extensive inventory so please do not hesitate to contact us if you are searching for something in particular or are trying to fill a cupboard.
