Scarce Ringware Variant 8.5" Green Glazed Yellowware Bowl

Produced for only one year, this "Ringware" variant pattern is tough to find in any size and especially in such a nice glaze. This is a particularly nice example due to the crispness of the curtain pattern on the shoulder. This pattern was abandoned after a few production runs because clay kept building up in the detail on the shoulder and the curtain pattern became "muddy" after a few uses of the molds. Glaze for some reason did not take well either. Measuring 8.5" in diameter and 4.5" high, this bowl would be an awesome addition to your green-glazed yellowware collection as it has one of the crispest patterns and best glazes of any of this pattern we have had. . No damage. Please see our other listings as we have an extensive selection of green bowls listed on the website as well as others in inventory so feel free to contact us to inquire about others.
