Very Best Antique English Silver Buckle Ring with Gold Accents

Description:

Being the only buckle ring we have seen with both silver and gold metals, this is truly a "must" for any Victorain jeweler collector. They just don't get better.  This wide silver buckle band possesses a perfectly executed tubular rose gold buckle portion and belt loop.  Almost pink in color, the rose gold is an incredible juxtaposition.

Measuring 3/8" wide, it is a nice wide band in shiny silver.  Fits a 6.5 to 7 American ring size finger.  Silky smooth and comfortable to wear.

Fully hallmarked.

Buckle motifs are the most popular of all Victorian themes.  They are a staple of any Victorain jewelry collection and often the first endeavor into this type of jewelry is a buckle bangle.  Buckle rings are not plentiful as rings were easily lost and there weren't as many produced originally.  They can vary in width with this being one of the widest we have seen.  Most have an intricate pattern in keeping with the Victorian period making this even more unusual as it is completely plain. The buckle symbolized loyalty, strength, and protection.

Both very Victorian due to the theme and combination of metals yet modern due to the simplicity.  Perfect to wear daily.
