Unusual Berlin Swirl Ironstone Creamer w/ St. Louis Advertising

Description:

WOW!! What a find! "Berlin Swirl" is one of the rarest ironstone patterns, and it does not disappoint when it surfaces. The embossed fat vertical swirls and elaborate handle are just part of its beauty.  The slender shape of the body of the creamer is a main contributing factor as well.

Measuring 5.75" high, it is a nice medium height.  Bottom bears the registry mark as well as St. Louis advertising.  We have never seen another piece with advertising such as this.  Advertising states, "Manufactured For & Imported by Chauncey J. Filley St. Louis Mo."  The script of this stamp is beautiful and adds much charm to this already rare piece.

No chips, cracks, or repairs.  Has usual wear.

Perfect addition to any ironstone collection and especially a creamer montage.
