Exquisite Lily Pad Low Ironstone Fruit Compote

Simply one of the most stunning pieces of ironstone!  They just don't get any prettier than this with the elaborate embossed decoration.  The interior ribbing extends outward and terminates in a lovely border of well-defined leaves.  Three small stubby feet raise the shallow bowl just 2" from the table.  

It is no surprise that it is marked "J.F." on the bottom.  This is the maker's mark for Jacob Furnival.  He was considered to be the Neiman Marcus of the ironstone world so there is no wonder this is such a phenomenal piece.

Will be the prized piece in any collection.
