Rare 1850's Blue Transfer Transferware Ironstone Pitcher

Description:

Absolutely lovely ironstone pitcher with large blue transfer flowers.  Produced by B.F.K., Boch Feres Keramis, a small pottery company in Belgium in the 1850's. This is a rare example as very few of their pieces are found.

Cadet, dusty blue flowers with long flowing leaves add well appointed decoration.  Measuring 12" high and 11" from spout to back of handle, it is a large, generous pitcher.  Graceful in appearance due to the overall shape of the pitcher and complimenting floral decoration.

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or stains.

Perfect to adorn a foyer table or even a bathroom counter all on its own or used as a receptacle for flowers.  Special enough to be displayed on its own or as the star of a collection of colorful pitchers.
