Measuring 2.25" long x 1.5" wide, this is a spectacular medium to large-size locket. Intricately decorated both front and back. Can easily be worn with either side facing outward. One side, referred to here as the front, a graceful wading bird is in engraved in the foreground of an intricately designed setting. Teardrops form the outline.
Back of locket is just as beautiful and intricate in design. Leaves and even a cartouche with a monogram are included in this decoration. Truly two slightly different flavors which would give one a locket to compliment most wardrobes.
Shown paired with a wide woven collar. Could just as easily be added to a simple rolo chain or even one of the proper cannonball chains.
Excellent condition with proper working hinge and closes tightly shut.

Hallmarks are not always present but they are not only present but also wonderfully shown under the stork. They are cleverly forming the base on which the stork stands.
