Standing 9.25" high, this is the milk pitcher size in the set. Johnson Bros. produced numerous sizes of pitchers in this pattern during the mid to late 1800's. They all bear the deep ribbing at the base of the body and the squarish body. The clean but different lines make this a lovely addition to a collection of pitchers and most certainly to a collection of more geometric forms. Marked with the Johnson Bros. black stamp on the bottom, it is a brilliant white indicative of ironstone from that period. No condition issues and no staining.
