Absolutely beautiful, this lovely ironstone tureen has a vine of ivy encircling both the lid and bottom. Produced by John Meir & Son in the mid-1800's,this pattern is not frequently seen. When this pattern is found, it is always very crisp and mesmerizing. Measuring 8" x 13" and standing 7" high, this is a larger vegetable tureen with incredible presence. It is brilliant white with no condition issues. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Can be easily used or simply appreciated.
