Measuring 6.75" x 11", this is a beautiful medium-sized ironstone vegetable tureen. With its elaborate and highly detailed floral pattern, it is usually referred to as "Morning Glory." Produced in the mid to late 1800's by most likely Tunstall, it is the perfect shape to use. In excellent condition with a flat chip off the bottom edge of the lid, it is completely serviceable and displays perfect. No staining and crisp detail to the pattern allow it to be a wonderful sideboard or cupboard addition as well. We rarely purchase damaged pieces, but this was an exception as the damage is not unsightly nor is does it interfere with its ability to be used. Has an impressed maker's mark on the bottom.
