Absolutely gorgeous in all ways! Truly keeping with all of Jacob Furnival's pieces, this is highly detailed with plenty of attention to detail. Jacob Furnival made this pattern from 1845-1870. Known as "Paneled Grape" due to the eight exaggerated panels accentuated by the grape clusters under the top finial and each handle. These grape clusters also highlight the ends of the underplate. Perfectly white in true J.F. style as well. J.F. black stamp adorns the base of both the tureen and underplate. Jacob Furnival is one of our favorite potters as their pieces are to us considered the Neiman Marcus of the ironstone world. No damage or staining on any of the pieces. Truly special since it even has the original underplate. Sauce tureen measures 7.5" high and 7.5" from handle to handle. Underplate measures 8" in totality. Tureen height on underplate is 9.25" high.
