Not the typical buckle locket as it has a simple engraved belt buckle or garter. "HD" is engraved in the middle. Back of locket is plain. Both sides have a few dents and dings to show wear and age. Rather large as it measures 1.5" x 1.75" and then 2.5" in total length including the bale. Hinge is in proper working order. Stays shut. An excellent example of an 1880s English locket with the highly sought after buckle motif. Would be nicely paired with any of the long chains also listed in the gift section.
