Fabulous grass green glaze accentuates this green-glazed "Ringware" pitcher. Produced in the 1920's by the McCoy Pottery Company, this is part of the "Ringware" collection which consists of a nesting set of bowls, various butter crocks, buttermilk pitcher and this table pitcher. "Ringware" was produced in a variety green glazes, and this exhibits the grass green coloration.
Standing 7.5" high, this is one of only a few green pitchers which can be found. All collections need height, and this can definitely satisfy that. Smooth rounded rings consume the lower two-thirds of the pitcher creating quite a graphic.
Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
