Produced in the mid-1800's by J & G Meakin, this is one of the few ironstone pitchers with such a streamlined, square shape. Standing 8.25" high, this is a lovely medium-sized water or table pitcher. With the its square shape and lovely grooved lines on the handle, it has an overall simple presence with quiet personality.
Nice black maker's stamp on the bottom denoting J&G Meakin. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains, or issues of any sort.
Measures 8" from spout to back of handle to complete the overall square shape.
