Simple yet bold! With its eight fat panels extending from base to top rim, this is a lovely large ironstone pitcher. Standing 11.5" and measuring 9" from spout to handle, it is robust and makes a statement. Perfect choice to grace the foyer table or kitchen counter for those weekly bouquets.
Does not need to be a part of a collection as it has plenty of pizzazz all on its own. Marked J&G Meakin on the bottom in a black maker's stamp. Dates to the mid-1950's. Exhbis the pure white coloration and weight one would expect from early ironstone pieces.
