With its beautiful ivy vine encircling the bottom portion with larger ivy vines near the top and handle, this is one of the prettiest ironstone water/table pitchers we have had. Standing 9" high and measuring 9" from spout to handle, this is a rather large water or table pitcher. The more bulbous lower body creates an even larger presence than it really is. Produced by the John Meir & Son pottery company in the mid-1800's in England, this pattern is not as commonly found as some and is certainly striking when it is found. We also purchased a matching vegetable tureen so please check our other listings to see if it is still available. If you are wanting to assemble a grouping of pitchers, then feel free to contact us so we can show you different groupings.
