Standing a sweet 5.5" high in a medium to lighter green glaze, this is a simply pleasing green-glazed yellow ware pitcher. Slightly bulbous in shape. The flowing shape corresponds beautifully with the tall forget-me-not flowers. Green-glazed yelloware pitchers are not readily found, and this sweet creamer size of this pattern is rather elusive. With its simple lines and sweet pattern, it has a very soothing appearance. The slightly lighter green glaze than other green glazed items is indicative of all of these Forget-Me-Not pitchers. Produced by a small Iowa pottery company in the 1920's, these pitchers as well as the ivy trail and fern bowls all have this same slightly lighter green glaze. This pitcher is the next to the largest of the four or five different sizes. Pristine condition.
