Green Glazed Yellowware 8" Girl with The Watering Can Bowl

Description:

"Girl with the Watering Can" might possibly be the most sought after pattern of all green bowls. It certainly possesses lots of details and charm. Produced in the 1920's by the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company in both this grass green glaze as well as the warm pumpkin glaze and base buff glaze, this pattern can be found in mixing bowls ranging in sizes from 5" to 10" in diameter. Measuring 8" in diameter and 4.75" high, this is a medium-sized example with excellent detail. The molds to make these bowls were used over and over and due to the high detail to this pattern, this must have been one of the first ones produced. Not only is the detail excellent but the grass green glaze is exceptional. This has one of the best glazes of any we have seen. It is in pristine condition with no chips or cracks. Please see other listings for pumpkin glazed examples and feel free to contact us to allow us to assist you in your collection. We enjoy working with individuals and decorators alike.
