Fabulous Fig Ironstone Sugar Bowl

Description:

Sugar bowls are a popular ironstone form which some collectors focus on solely while others allow them to add personality to their extensive collection. Since "Fig" is one of our favorite patterns, we love this sugar bowl. Standing 7.25" high to the top of the finial and measuring 5.5" across from handle to handle, this is a generously sized sugar bowl. The "Fig" pattern is crisp and perfectly executed. It bears the maker's impressed mark on the bottom, J. Wedgwood. It was produced from 1860 to 1865. With some effort, one can find several pieces in this pattern. No condition issues and no staining. Since this is one of our favorite patterns, we often have several other pieces in the "Fig" or "Fig Union" pattern so feel free to contact us to see what else we may have. We professionally package and can easily, safely ship any item, fully insured, within the US.
