Fabulous rose gold chain is a tight weave of small curb link links to create an an intricate look. A full 60" long allows it to be doubled or tripled. Dating to the 1880's, it has all the properties of one would want in an antique English chain. Links are sturdy yet dainty. Both ends terminate at a single dog clip. The chain easily slides through the dog clip when it open which allows it stay securely in its doubled length.
It can easily be wrapped three times forming an interesting and unique look. Chain is fine enough to slide through the bales of most lockets or pendants. Locket,pendant, or fob can be attached to the dog clip as well.

9kt gold became all the rage during this time as it was more affordable for the upper middle class, and it allowed them to denote their rising status in society. The vast majority of gold jewelry found during this period is of this karat content. Earrings, bangles, and chains were now being worn during the day and were no longer reserved for evening. Women of this period were no different than women today; each enjoyed her own style and her pieces were special and significant to her. Her personality emanated from her jewelry.
