Absolutely wonderful rust and white banded canister with matching lid. Measuring 6.5" in diameter and 4.75" in diameter, this is a splendid small to medium canister. Having possibly the best banding we have seen on one of these banded canisters, this has been a favorite and in our own cupboard for a number of years. The bands are just the right thickness and very well-executed. A rust band outlines the top and bottom of the center two white bands.
The slightly rust color of the banding and not-too-white banding all seem to melt into one another and flow well with the base color of the yellow ware canister. Banding on the lid matches exactly. Lid also fits snugly and exactly which indicates this is one of the rare ones with the original lid. Most of these have been "married" throughout the years.
Both lid and base are in pristine condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Perfect to simply be added to your collection or to actually be used.
