Lovely medium-sized 9.25" diameter ironstone compote.Perfect for the graduated stack of three shown. Each is sold separately. Early true white coloration. Nice shallow bowl with elegantly curved sides. No maker's mark, but it was definitely made in England during the mid to late 1800's.
These shallow compotes are a favorite simple shape. They blend well with collections focused on either plain or highly embossed pieces.
Can be stacked on the other compotes as shown, displayed on its own, or stacked on a cake stand.
Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or staining.
