Wonderful cobalt blue banded bowl. Measures 5" in diameter and 2.5" high, this is a sweet small bowl. Buttery yellow base bowl is the best coloration. Deep blue wide center band outlined on top and bottom by two thinner bands.
Small yellow ware bowls were either the smallest in nesting sets or used as salesman's samples. The smallest bowls tend to be the rarest as they were not practical for the kitchen and were often given to the children to play. As one can imagine, most were broken and created their rarity.
Excellent condition. Matches the 4" brown banded one also listed.
