One of the prettiest green highlighted "cow" pitchers we have seen. Rich medium green highlights the top and bottom bands as well as each medallion on the sides. Lovely embossed scrolling forms the top and bottom decoration while medallions of cows form the central decoration.
Detail is crisp and legible. Most often the molds of these pitchers had been used so many times that the details were often not clear. This one had to have been one of the first out of the mold as the cows are even discernible.
Standing 9" high, it is the medium-sized pitcher as this was produced in at least 3 known sizes. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
