One of the prettiest green-glazed bowls ever. Measuring 7" in diameter and 4" high, this is medium to small bowl in an incredible pattern. Squares completely cover the exterior of the bowl. This pattern is referred to as "checkerboard."
One of the hardest patterns to find. Produced in the late 1920's in both this grass green glaze as well as a summery yellow glaze. Originally part of a nesting set of bowls ranging in size from 5" to 11".
A true favorite among green-glazed yellowware collectors, this is an absolutely mesmerizing pattern. The glaze varies in green coloration with this being the very best we have seen.
