WOW! What an incredibly rare pattern and in a size we haven't seen previously. Measuring 6" in diameter and 3" high, this is a fabulous bowl which is a "must have" for any green-glazed yellowware collector.
Produced by a small pottery company in Illinois with a limited production run, very few bowls actually surface with this "Ivy Trail" pattern and most are 10" in diameter. Not only is the pattern far different than others from this time period but the green coloration of the glaze is as well.
Exhibiting a slightly lighter green coloration, this is the perfect bowl to add dimension to a collection. Certainly one to be noticed due to unusual trailing vines of the embossing as well as the variation of the green glaze.
