Lovely 7.5" Small Ironstone Compote - Top Stack

Measuring only 7.5" in diameter and 4.5" high, this is a perfect option to stack on another compote, cake stand, or even a platter. It has a graceful flowing shape.  

Shallow, short compotes on simple pedestals are a favorite ironstone form.  They are a "must have" for any ironstone collection.  These smaller sizes are serviceable and work well to transform a single cake stand or compote into a chips and salsa or fountain of tidbits.  

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or stains.  Exceptional early piece with true white coloration and nice weight.  No maker's mark but most certainly 1800's English.
