Fabulous 9kt gold trombone chain measuring 17" long. Long rectangular links divided by rings are what denotes a "trombone" chain. This type of watch chain is the most sought after and has become increasingly more difficult to find. We have been lucky enough to find this luscious chunky gold one as well as several silver ones not listed.
Antique gold watch chains such as this were originally used for pocket watches in England in the 1800's. Unusually longer ones such as this are perfect to be worn as necklaces. At 17", it is the ideal length to be worn on a daily basis. Has retained its original T-bar. This T-bar can be worn in the front with the dog clips in the back.
Has two original dog clips. These can be worn in the front with fobs, a locket, or watch keys attached. It is shown with a collection of watch keys. Dog clips are both in proper working order.
