Nothing short of amazing!  Gold buckle banges are often considered to the Holy Grail of antique jewelry.  They are elusive and even more so in good condition.  This one is truly remarkable in condition, decoration, and width.  One of the best we have ever seen.  It has just the right amount of black enameling to highlight the decoration.  Back is simpler with softer detail.  

Square robust buckle follows the squared-off sides.  Tailored with bold personality.  Sure to add confidence and bounce to the step of the adorned.  Beautiful buttery yellow gold coloration.  14kt gold. 

Inscription inside reads "L.M. Banfield June 7, 1876." 

Measures 7/8" wide and 5.75" inner circumference.  Wonderful width.  Perfect for a smaller-than-average wrist.  Opens wide with the safety bar.

Excellent condition with no dents, dings, etc.  Minimal signs of wear.  Hinge is in proper working order.  Clasp is tight and secure.  Safety bar for extra measure.
