Looking for something different to add to your collection of bangles or stack? This is one of the most unusual bangles we have seen in all aspects. Finish is not quite matte as it emulates that of the "bloomed gold" seen in the early 1800's. Highly polished thick applied swirls are centered around a diamond-shaped ruby red paste stone. This stone is set closer to one edge to add mroe to the overall design.
Measures 7" inner circumference so will fit an average size wrist as well as a slightly larger one.
Excellent condition. Stone has no issues. Hinge and clasp are in proper working order. Stays shut when lightly tugged.
Perfect to be worn on its own or stacked to add a bit of color. Red stones are not easily found. Bangles with stones are harder to find in general.
Dates to 1890-1915, American. Most likely Boston or Philadelphia in origin.
