Lovely Floral Link 16" Victorian Sterling Silver Book Chain

Description:

Absolutely gorgeous with each floral link separated by double beaded links.  Stylized flowers adorn each of the wider links.  Victorians believed each flower had a specific meaning; thus, if one can correctly identify the forget-me-not style flower, then one would understand the true sentiment of this chain.

Measuring 16" long, this is a healthy length chain from the 1880's.  Produced in England for a specific woman.  Pieces such as these were made only for the English market making these pieces scarce here in The States.  We possess one of the most extensive inventories of such pieces in The States so please do not hesitate to contact us to allow us to help you find just the right chain and locket /compass/fob combination.

Unlike any other chain we have seen, these heavily engraved floral links exhibit excellent detail and will nicely compliment a collection of bangles, earrings, and bracelets.

Can be combined with not only a locket of various motifs but also a compass or spinner fob.  A superb length to be worn as a daily chain or on special occasions.

Flat links allow the chain to lay nicely.

Original bolt ring in tight and secure as the fastener.

Chain is sold separately from the locket shown. Inquire for more information on the locket.
