Amethyst, Sapphire, and Garnet14kt Gold Bangle - Large and Exceptional

Description:

A dazzling buttery yellow gold  solid bangle in an unusually large size with brilliant bezel set stones.  A sizable oval lilac-colored amethyst anchors the front of the bangle while highly unusual hexagonal-shaped stones of sapphire and garnet adorn the sides. Herringbone feather-type light engraving fully encompasses the entire base gold bangle.  Not a single area is not filled with decoration.

Measuring 7.5" inner circumference, this will easily accommodate a larger-than-average wrist.  A true rarity as most bangles are made for average wrists of 7".  Being a solid bangle, it must be able to slip over the hand as it is not hinged.

Perfect condition with no dents or dings.  Being 14 karat GOLD, this is a very hefty bangle and not lightweight nor gold-filled.

Measuring 3/8" wide, it can easily be worn on its own or stacked/layered with others.

Unlike any other bangle we have seen due to the placement of the stones, hexagonal shape of the side stones, and also the assortment of stone type.  Were these particular stones chosen to represent the birthstones of the children and then the anchor amethyst to represent the mother?  Was it to represent grandchildren and a child?  Or were these just stones she felt were pretty and wanted it all?

An exceptional piece and especially for one with larger wrists and searching for a gold bangle.  No issues of any sort.
