One of the most intriguing patterns found in green glazed yellowware bowl, this "checkerboard" pattern consists of small squares row after row. Measuring 9.5" in diameter and 5.25" high, this is one of the largest examples found in this particular pattern.
Produced by an Ohio pottery company in the 1920's, this pattern was produced in sizes ranging from 5.5" to 12.5" in diameter. Due to small production runs, this is one of the more elusive patterns. A yellowware base bowl was then glazed in a variety of green glazes.
This exceptional bowl has a medium green coloration.
