WOW! Unusual 6" diameter "Checkerboard" green glazed yellowware bowl. This is a scarce pattern and even more so in this small size. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Produced by an unkown Ohio pottery company in the 1920's in a graduated set measuring 5" to 12" and in a variety of green glazes. This is a medium color of glaze.
The smaller sizes of this pattern make the squares look more like dots while the larger bowls appear to have more of a square pattern.
A fabulous option for someone who collects small bowls, green glazed yellowware, or needing a smaller piece as the cupboard is full.
