WOW! What a stunning piece! Measuring 7.5" tall and 9" from tip of spout to back of handle, this is a wonderful large blue seaweed-decorated pitcher. One of the nicest we have had in our favorite shape, the bulbous. Most decorated pitchers have straight sides; thus this is our preferred shape.
As if the pristine condition and shape were not enough, the tulip design in the seaweed puts this pitcher over the top. It took a master potter to control the capillary action to create the basic seaweed and then even one of even more extraordinary talent to form a tulip design in the seaweed. Pieces with the tulip design do surface however very rarely.
A superb piece for any collection especially those focused on seaweed decoration and pristine condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
